SJ Junior Club – Pre-Prep Transition Program
Our much-loved Stay and Play sessions have received a refresh and are now known as SJ Junior Club.
SJ Junior Club continues to offer the same warm, play-based transition experience families value, while more strongly reflecting the spirit, identity and strong sense of belonging that define St James Catholic Primary School.
The program remains a free, parent attended transition experience, led by St James teaching staff and leadership, supporting children and families as they begin their school journey.
Transition Is a Journey At St James, we believe transition is not a single day, it is a journey.
SJ Junior Club allows children and families to walk this journey together, supported by a caring community grounded in faith, relationships and joy.
SJ Junior Club is St James’ Pre-Prep transition program for 3- and 4-year-old children, designed to support a confident, positive and gentle start to school for both children and families.
A welcome pack is provided to all children at their first SJ Junior Club session, helping them feel excited, prepared and part of the St James community from day one.
